Structure

We believe that the annual ASFONZ Communication Awards set the benchmark for industry best communication practice. 

In the last few years we have seen unprecedented legislative and regulatory change related to the provision and taxation of workplace savings.  These changes necessitated a review of the ASFONZ Communication Awards structure in 2007.

Last year the awards were redesigned to accommodate and recognise the importance of effective communication regarding the introduction of KiwiSaver, where employers and scheme administrators were required to communicate the sometimes complex retirement savings principles to the average New Zealander.

In 2008 we are maintaining that same award structure.
