Judging Criteria

Communication Award entries are judged on:

  1. How the form of communication contributed to the achievement of the objectives;
  2. How appropriate the form of communication was to the target audience;
  3. An assessment of how the form of communication attracted and maintained the audience's attention and achieved understanding;
  4. How innovative was the approach to the form and design of the communication including the use of particular techniques, such as language, graphics, visual imagery, sound and colour, etc;
  5. Tone, clarity and user-friendliness of the communication.

The judges represent a cross-section of industry and commerce to ensure that entries meet regulatory and technical objectives while also achieving their prime communication objectives - talking meaningfully to members about their scheme.
