David Ireland (ASFONZ Chair and partner with law firm Kensington Swan) is also a member of the inaugural Code Committee appointed under the Financial Advisers Act 2008, charged with developing a code of professional conduct for financial advisers.

As part of the Code Committee's consultation programme, David will discuss the likely implications of the Financial Advisers and Financial Service Providers legislation for the delivery of workplace savings, focusing on the role of the employer.

David will be seeking feedback from those present, as representatives of the workplace savings sector, to take back to the Code Committee to help inform the Code's development."
